4 1/2" anciently salvaged Slate Bar Amulet recovered in Hardin Co., Ohio. One end has original hole. It appears the piece broke near the midsection and was anciently redrilled. Made from heavily patinated Glacial Slate. Purchased at Painter Creek Auction Part 1, June 22, 1980. Pictured in Ohio Archaeologist Volume 30, #3 Summer 1980, page 25.
