Rare style! 3 7/16" Long Resting Birdstone made from nicely Banded Glacial Slate found in Windfall Chatfield Twp Crawford Co. Ohio. This is one of only two known of this type. One was in the Meuser collection this one is from the Wehrle Collection. Also Ex. Hill Jacob Royer Jim Miller collections. Interesting that in Wehrle's catalog #379W he notes Birdstone resembles a mouse .
