3 1/4" anciently broken and salvaged Birdstone found in Knox Co., Ohio. Interesting that it was spotted to be drilled again at the break. There is a suspension groove on the upper neck. Pictured in Prehistoric American Volume XLIII, page 174, Prehistoric American Birdstone Edition, #4, 2009 and Who's Who #5, page 19 & 20. Sold in the Townsend sale in January 2015, catalog number 294. This Birdstone was once restored at the rear section and the restoration has since been removed returning it to its original salvaged state. Ex. Wehrle (#402). From the collection of John May.
