3 5/8" Anciently salvaged red banded slate Birdstone found in Ohio. The broken end was polished off and a notch added on the top Ridge. There is a partially drilled hole at the bottom back which indicates they tried redrilling this after it originally broke and it broke a second time so they added the notch instead.
