Rare style! Highly stylized 5 1/4" engraved scooped and ridged drilled Boatstone made from Chlorite in a snake or turtle effigy design. From the famous Dorothy Middleton collection. This rare artifact was once on display in her museum in New Jersey as well as on display in the Thunderbird Museum Niagara Falls NY. Found at the Rosenkranz Ferry site in Flatbrookville New Jersey.
