Wonderful set of shell artifacts found together at a site on the Sherman farm, Grafton, Jersey County Illinois on February 22, 1947. Includes an incredible 5 hole gorget and 28 beads. Gorget measures 4". These are very lightly tack-glued to a piece of foam. Very nice and rare set of artifacts. Deaccessioned by the Museum of Native American History. Comes with a Museum Deaccession Certificate.
