No. 9 Phoenix Button small disc type which measures 5/8" style #2. Very good condition. Phoenix Buttons were made in Britain for King Christophe of Haiti. These military buttons were brought to the Columbia River as trade goods before 1835 by Boston merchant Nathaniel Wyeth. Found on the mid Columbia River by Dewey Schmid prior to 1955.
