Pictured! 4 3/4" long bone Pendant found along the northern Missouri River - South Dakota.

4 3/4" long bone Pendant that is highly decorated with unusual incised circles on both faces. While similar pieces are known from the Pacific Northwest region this one was found along the northern Missouri River near Mobridge South Dakota. Pictured in Lar Hothem's book Rare and Unusual Indian Artifacts (and listed as Museum grade) page 279. From the collection of the late Harlan Olson.
