3 5/16" Platform Pipe made from deeply patinated green steatite found in Mantua New Jersey. Originally in the Newbold collection which sold in 1900. Purchased at that time by A. H. Steigerwal. It was then in the Payne collection and the Jim Ritchie collections. Bowl has been anciently salvaged. Very unique artifact with excellent history.
