Catlinite Pipe with a two piece stem that is 18"long. Broken and glued in 3 places. This pipe was purchased in 1921 from old Con-Cheno who was a Cree Indian on the Little Pine Reserve in the Battleford district Province of Saskatchewan Canada. Con-Cheno fought against the whites in the Rebellion of 1865 and took part in the Onion Lake Massacre as per a document that accompanies this artifact. Ex. A.E. Hastings.
