Pictured! One of four Revolutionary war period highly polished steatite pipes

Pictured! One of four Revolutionary war period highly polished steatite pipes made by the Cherokee or Creek Indians for European trade which ended up in a collection in England. All four of these pipes lots 209 209A 209B 209C were featured in a 2010 article written by Dr. Richard Michael Gramly for Indian artifacts magazine and the ASAA journal. This pipe measures 4 3/4" long by 1 15/16" tall and is in pristine condition. Comes with copies of Dr. Gramly's articles. From the Mickey Taylor Iron Horse collection.
