Rare style! 3 1/16" Paleo Lind Coulee found near Sauvies Island Columbia River. The Lind Coulee type dates from 11 500-9 000 BP. The Lind Coulee site was excavated by Dr. Richard Daugherty of Washington State University in 1951. The site yielded several stem points of the Lind Coulee-Parman style. Some of the points exhibited basal grinding some did not. In addition to the stemmed points Daugherty found the bottom portions of a concave base point and two crescents.
