Pictured-Very Rare! 1 11/16” fluted Paleo Clovis found on Long Island New York. Only a handful of Paleo points have ever been recovered from Long Island. Pictured in the March 1973 edition of The Bulletin Number 57 by the New York State Archaeological Association locations of fluted points of Long Island page 6 figure B . *An original copy of this publication is included with this artifact* As of 1973 only 14 Paleo points had been documented as found on the Island and this is one of them. This Paleo point was found in 1966 by Richard O. Whitney in Deer Park Suffolk Co. Long Island New York. It was recovered from top soil brought into his yard. Mr. Whitney traced the source of the top soil which came from a location adjacent to the Carlls River. Due to the rarity of location this is a highly collectible artifact. * An original copy of the
