7 7/8" tall x 5 3/8" wide Mississippian Full Bodied Hooded Human Effigy bottle featuring walls engraved with swirls on each hip, swirls and points engraving around each breast. Engraved weeping eyes. The head has been reattached, cracks have been restored. Fantastic example of engraving on Human Effigy Bottle. Pictured in "North American Indian Artifacts #6", page 180. Also pictured in "Central States Archaeological Journal Oct. 2008" page 272. Recovered in Arkansas Co., Arkansas.
