Exceptional! 6" tall highly polished northwest coast Spool Maul

Exceptional! 6" tall highly polished northwest coast Spool Maul from the old time collection of Dr. Paul Smits of Aberdeen Washington. Acquired prior to 1910 from the Quinault or Makah tribes of Northwest Washington. Old inventory tag on the bottom of the maul is from the 1920s when Smits collection artifacts were on loan to a Washington Historical Museum. Ex. Dr. J. Knudson Ex. Dr. P. Smits.
